About Me

I am a visual artist, designer, and art educator driven by curiosity and storytelling. With over 12 years of experience in graphic design and a background in illustrative arts, my work blends fine art foundations with contemporary design practice. Having worked across diverse industries and cultural contexts, I approach creativity with both strategic clarity and emotional depth.

Alongside my professional design career, I have dedicated myself to teaching art to children and young people ages 4–16. Working with such a wide range of developmental stages has shaped my belief that creativity is not just a skill, but a language—one that evolves as confidence grows. From nurturing imagination in early childhood to guiding technical development and conceptual thinking in teens, I strive to create learning environments that are supportive, exploratory, and empowering.

Whether in the studio or the classroom, I am passionate about cultivating spaces where imagination is nurtured, skills are strengthened, and creativity becomes a lifelong language.

Art & Design Education

Guiding young artists from imagination to intention.

Between 2019 and 2023, I founded and led my privately owned after-school art studio in Michigan, USA, where I guided students aged 4–16 through the language of art and design. My teaching practice wove together creative freedom and thoughtful structure, grounding experimentation in an understanding of child development, visual storytelling, and core design principles. Through drawing, painting, mixed media, and introductory digital design, I encouraged students to explore materials with curiosity and intention, while older learners developed foundational skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator as tools for expression and problem-solving. Beyond the studio classroom, I shaped a complete learning ecosystem—designing curriculum, tracking progress, communicating with families, and curating student exhibitions that transformed creative process into shared experience. At the heart of my work was the creation of an inclusive, studio-centered environment where confidence grew, individual voice was honored, and young artists learned not only how to make art, but how to speak about it and stand behind it.

MICHIGAN

I designed and delivered carefully curated lessons for small groups of up to eight students, allowing for meaningful interaction, individualized guidance, and a strong sense of creative community. My classes moved fluidly between traditional and digital mediums, introducing young artists to watercolor, acrylics, colored pencils, and drawing, while also guiding older students into the world of digital creation through Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva. Each program was thoughtfully shaped to meet students where they were—playful, sensory, and imaginative for preschool and elementary learners, and increasingly focused, concept-driven, and skill-based for high school students. Across all age groups, my lessons balanced joy with intention, structure with freedom, and experimentation with technique. The learning journey culminated in end-of-semester exhibitions, where students proudly shared their work in a gallery-style setting—an experience deeply loved by my students, who thrived in an environment that celebrated creativity, growth, and the confidence to be seen.
